The snippets of text you are about to read in the following chapters are not a part of a book. They are a part of a manuscript which hopes one day to be a book. Or at least its author hopes so.
I’ve done things a bit backwards here: I’ve written a manuscript, put up a website with bits and pieces from the manuscript on it, and am now hoping for a publisher to come along. A bit like fishing I suppose.
So enjoy. I hope you find what you read amusing, entertaining and educational. If you’re not from Arizona, don’t worry – there’s plenty in each chapter having nothing to do with Arizona and everything to do with the city, country and people I happen to be running roughshod over in that chapter.
